About Rachael
Rachael Berry, LSW, MSW, is a Licensed Social Worker that holds a master's degree in social work. Rachael received her bachelor's degree and master's degree from Cleveland State University. Her experience working within the community has helped her to meet people where they are and gain experience with diverse mental health disorders. Rachael's therapeutic approach aligns with a strengths-based perspective, while working at the pace of individuals to achieve their goals. She feels collaboration is a foundation that helps clients move forward. She provides a non-judgmental environment while understanding she has to earn others' trust. Rachael works with the mind-body connection to help people understand trigger responses. Through psychoeducation, she believes knowledge is a strong component in taking control of one's emotions. She can also incorporate Christian faith-based approaches per the client's request. Rachael's social work background provides a wide scope of understanding of environmental influences. She likes to focus on Maslow's hierarchy of needs to ensure all clients' needs are met to achieve self-actualization. Outside of work, Rachael likes to spend time with her family and be outdoors. She loves the beach and simple things in life.
